AIRLINE TURNAROUND

Role: Program Manager

Objective: Manage "turnaround" program consisting of multiple initiatives designed to achieve operational efficiencies and improve revenue realization.  Program includes establishing systems to identify and measure performance metrics, and implementing automated processes for improved information sharing and reporting across functional areas.  Responsible for oversight and appropriate deployment of resources of a global consulting firm previously engaged.

AIRLINE CONSOLIDATION

Role: Project Manager  

Objective: Consolidate two competing airlines into one new airline that will be profitable. Manage the operational alignment of five business units: Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Engineering/Maintenance, Cargo, and HR. Includes analysis of existing processes, systems, procedures, and assets, as well as new requirements in order to develop the transition and acquisition plans necessary to quickly launch the new company.

HUMAN RESOUCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM 

Role: IT Project Manager

Objective: Implement first enterprise system to manage human resources and payroll processes (UltiPro). System will includes web-enabled self-service for employees.

PAYROLL SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Role: Project Manager

Objective: Provide crew employees with more accurate payroll results and improved payroll reporting via the Internet (Sabre Crew Management system customizations).

U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND RELOCATION

Role: Section Leader

Customer: US Army

Objective: Engineering and installation of the telecommunications systems for the new U.S. Southern Command headquarters facility in Miami, Florida

INTERNET PASSENGER SEAT ASSIGNMENT SYSTEM 

Role: IT Project Manager

Objective: Improve customer satisfaction by providing advanced flight seat assignment and boarding pass printing via the Internet.

NEW FLEET CERTIFICATION (FAA)

Role: Project Manager

Objective: Reduce maintenance and fuel costs, and reach new markets with the acquisition, certification, and operation of a new Airbus fleet. 

CENTRALIZED AIRCRAFT WEIGHT & BALANCE SYSTEM

Role: Project Manager

Objective: Reduce departure delays and improve revenue opportunities with the design and implementation of an automated program (proprietary development) to determine aircraft center of gravity required aircraft takeoff.

ASSET (FLEET) MANAGEMENT SYSTEM 

Role: Project Manager

Objective: Provide senior management with accurate fleet management and reporting, and improve visibility of aircraft parts status and reliability with the implementation of an automated, centralized, enterprise-wide fleet management system.

TELEWORK PROGRAM

Role: Implementation Director

Customers: Fortune 100 financial services company, National non-profit organization

Objective: Reduce facilities costs and improve employee satisfaction by implementing work-at-home programs to include communications, equipment, policy development, and technical support.

NEW TAX SYSTEM

Role: Engagement Specialist

Customer: Departamento de Hacienda de Puerto Rico

Objective: Develop a quality management program for the implementation of a new tax system for Puerto Rico’s tax authority.
